An invitation to the Chicago Premiere Party for Project Runway All Stars!!
I was shocked and ecstatic to receive an invite, and immediately began to freak out about finding something to wear. So how did I manage to end up on the invitation list? This time last year I was interning for Kate Pankoke and running the social media for her bridal company Elaya Vaughn.

Well after a few weeks of anxiously waiting, the night of the party finally arrived. I threw on a fabulous velvet dress, red lipstick, and drove into the city.
The venue was Chicago's Mayne Stage Theater, which features a restaurant (I highly recommend the sweet potato fries) and performance space.
As if we couldn't feel anymore fabulous, we were greeted with a mini red carpet upon arrival. We also received a Mood gift bag filled with little treats from sponsors including Garrets Popcorn.
If you are a devoted PR fan such as myself, you will be able to understand exactly how much I geeked out over this bag! I now display it proudly in my room.

The inside of the venue had a speakeasy vibe and felt very intimate.

Before the show started we were treated to a question and answer session with these two Project Runway Alumni. It was great to hear what it was like for them to be on the show a second (and it Kate's case third) time.

At 8pm sharp the show started and everyone settled in to see the drama unfold. During commercial breaks Justin and Kate asked trivia questions and threw out free t-shirts as prizes. I love this picture of Justin and his elegant t-shirt throwing form.
Halfway through, we were introduced to a surprise guest. Alexander Knox from Project Runway season 13!

Unfortunately the night had to end, but luckily the show will go on!
